We began over 40 years ago with a simple philosophy, honoring chefs in food services with a unique stamp of success with The Christopher's Five-Star “Chef of the Year Award a National Prestigious Culinary Award”. This award exemplifies the American personification of a great master chef in the fine art of cuisine. Judging criteria: 5 culinary professionals votes for each Chef of The Year Award but the final decision comes from the founder and CEO Chef Sean Christopher. We have stood alone in the culinary world, unaffiliated with any other organization in order to protect the prestigious nature of the award. The award came about in the mid-1980's when modern food was more critiqued for price, ambiance, and service.

In most cases today, dining out is considered a treat. Patrons already know what they love to eat. Food connoisseurs are more concerned about the quality of the food than the work required to make it. Their ideas of dining out no longer rely on restaurant reviews, but rather word-of-mouth. Enjoyable food and friendly courteous service is the new appeal that keeps bringing them back.
