Bob Christopher
Bob received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy."
After college Bob attended a Bible study in Atlanta where he discovered what he was missing—the life of Jesus Christ. Salvation isn’t a self-improvement program. Salvation is receiving and experiencing new life altogether. Witnessing God give new life to an elderly gentleman before he died put in Bob's heart a passion to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible.
During his 40 year ministry, Bob has helped people answer the big questions of life —Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going?—through his clear and practical teaching of the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Bob is passionate about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and deeply encouraged by those who are courageous enough to live that story out by grace through faith..
Bob is the author of Simple Gospel, Simply Grace, and Love Is. He hosts the daily, call-in radio broadcast, Basic Gospel.
Bob was born and raised in Marietta, GA. He grew up eating traditional southern cuisine. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BS in Biology, Bob moved to Dallas, TX. There he met with his wife, Jeanna. They recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. They have three children, Caitlin, Coleman, and McKenzie and one grandson, Kai.
